Praying to God (2:186)

God Answers the Prayers of “His Servants”

2:186 When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided.

Does this verse (2:186) only apply for when our wants correspond to God’s wishes?

God always answers our prayers, and sometimes the answer is “no”. This means if we don’t get what we ask for it may be because God does not want us to have it for our own good.

17:11 The human being often prays for something that may hurt him, thinking that he is praying for something good. The human being is impatient.

verse shows the Compassion of God. That we can trust God and pray to Him.
