Satan as the Master Hypnotist, who controls those who reject God alone and the Quran alone, leads the issue as Part I of a series. A guide to imploring God gathers the best prayers from the Quran and explains why some prayers go unanswered. Also covered: Sunni, Shi'a and Christian posters uniting online against Submitters, and the August 1996 conference in Houston.
Why does man deny God's profound signs within
himself and throughout creation? Why did early peoples deny the miracles
God sent to them? Why do most people prefer innovations, conjecture, opinion,
and tradition over the sure guidance of the Quran? Why have Muslim religious
leaders attempted to ignore and belittle the irrefutable miraculous code
discovered in the Quran? Why have Muslim religious leaders made such
absurd claims as “the Quran does not contain 114 chapters”
and “the Basmalah does not consist of 19 letters?”
The answer is: The majority of humanity has given itself over
to Satan, the Master Hypnotist. In keeping with His plan to crush
all doubt in the hearts of sincere believers, God has made this answer
even more overwhelmingly clear. God granted Satan power to hypnotize the
descendants of Adam who choose Satan's point of view, namely, that “God
Alone is not enough.” This power is given to Satan under one crucial
condition: Anyone shall snap out of the hypnotic trance upon deciding
to worship God
alone. Such freedom of decision shall be preserved
under all circumstances.
The Master Hypnotist's effectiveness lies in the fact that the majority
of humans have chosen to remain under his domination and control.
He (Satan) said, “My Lord, since You have willed
that I go astray, I will surely entice them on earth; I will send them
all astray. Except those among Your worshipers who are devoted absolutely
to You alone.” He (God) said, “This is a law that is inviolable:
you have no power over my servants; you only have power over the strayers
who follow you.” 15:39-42
Satan advises his “Muslim” allies not to accept the Quran
alone. He tells the “Christians” to accept Jesus as God or
son of God. He tells them to limit the extent that they will believe everything
in the scripture. And Satan instructs the humans to resist the signs of
God.
As soon as the human chooses NOT to uphold the Word of God ALONE and
worship God ALONE, the Master Hypnotist robs and strips the human of his
mind. Satan even makes his followers believe that they are guided.
He (God) guides some people
while others are committed to straying. They have chosen the devils as
their masters, instead of God, YET THEY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE GUIDED.
7:30
How Satan hypnotizes humanity
Hypnosis is a trance-like condition characterized by an altered state
of consciousness, diminished will power, and an increased responsiveness
to suggestion. People differ in their suggestibility to hypnosis. A person
cannot be hypnotized against his will; he must obey the suggestions of
a hypnotist. Hypnosis has been employed to help people with physical and
psychological diseases, as well as for harmful purposes. An effective
hypnotist is skilled in gaining the confidence of his clients. He knows
that 'it takes two', the client and himself, to produce the desired effects.
Our concern here is with the Master Hypnotist who misleads humanity en
masse. The Master Hypnotist also gains the trust of his subjects. But,
unlike human hypnotists, he is invisible.
...He (Satan) and his tribe can see you,
Page 2
Satan
while YOU DO NOT SEE THEM. We appoint the devils
as companions of those who do not believe. 7:27
Satan meets and even exceeds the qualifications of a hypnotist
because he knows when and how to make his suggestions, according
to a person's mind, character, desires and habits. He has considerable
knowledge of human nature, and he has thoroughly succeeded in rendering
millions of humans unable to use their minds.
(Satan said,) “I will come to them from before
them, and from behind them, and from their right, and from their
left, and You will find most of them unappreciative.” 7:17
People who are unappreciative of God are hypnotized by Satan without
their knowledge. Countless millions of people say, “I believe
in God,” when in fact their hearts do not mean it. Their utterance
is no more than lip service to go along with parents, friends, or
the society at large. Whenever they have opportunities to break
away from deception and doubt, they cling to fabricated falsehoods.
This leaves them susceptible to Satan's hypnosis. For the Master
Hypnotist is given access to the person's true intentions and innermost
beliefs, not outward appearances and lip-service utterances. By
going against their God-given instinct to worship God alone and
uphold His word alone, people enable the Master Hypnotist to set
them up for self-destruction behind an invisible barrier.
Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants
of Adam, and had them bear witness for themselves: “Am I not
your Lord?” They all said, “Yes. We bear witness.”
Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, “We were
not aware of this.” 7:172
Some followers of the scripture wish to lead you
astray, but they only lead themselves astray, without perceiving.
3:69
They repel others from
this (Quran), as they themselves stay away from it, and thus, they
only destroy themselves without perceiving. 6:26
As for those who reject our revelations, we lead
them on without them ever realizing it. I will even encourage them;
My scheming is formidable. 7:182-183
Satan gradually instills his suggestions into the minds of his
subjects; ideas counter to the worship God alone. Satan hypnotizes
his subjects into doing anything that reflects disbelief, idol-worship,
or hypocrisy.
They are like the devil: he says to the human being,
“Disbelieve,” then as soon as he disbelieves, he says,
“I disown you. I fear God, Lord of the universe.” 59:16
A trained hypnotist slowly infuses his directives into the subject's
mind because this “drop by drop” approach helps the
subject understand the instructions. But, in Satan's case, it is
a matter of making a person feel at home with negative prompts.
God protects His sincere servants from the Master Hypnotist's obvious
and subtle attempts to hypnotize them.
Say, “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the
whispers of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest
they come near me.” [23:97 98]
And the devil will say, after the judgment had been
issued, “God has promised you the truthful promise, and I
promised you, but I broke my promise. I had no power over you; I
simply invited you, and you accepted my invitation. Therefore, do
not blame me, and blame only yourselves. My complaining cannot help
you, nor can your complaining help me. I have disbelieved in your
idolizing me. The transgressors have incurred a painful retribution.”
14:22
When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in
God from Satan the
rejected. He has no power
over those who believe and trust in their Lord. His power is limited
to those who choose him as their master, those who choose him as
their god. 16:98-100
(O Satan,) “You have no power over My servants.
You only have power over the strayers who follow you.” 15:42
“You may entice them with your voice, and mobilize
all your forces and all your men against them, and share in their
money and children, and promise them. Anything the devil promises
is no more than an illusion. As for My servants, you have no power
over them.” Your Lord suffices as an advocate. 17:64-65

Implore God With the Best Prayers
When My servants ask you about Me,
I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me.
The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be
guided. (2:186)
The Quran informs us that we attain
value at our Lord only through our worship (25:77), and supplication
is a form of worship.
Your Lord says, “Implore Me, and I will respond to you. Surely,
those who are too arrogant to worship Me will enter Gehenna, forcibly.”
(40:60)
When you implore God, you are doing the right thing (13:14), and
He gives you what you implore Him for (14:34). God is hearer of
prayers (3:38). He rescues the needy, relieves adversity (27:62),
and answers prayers if He so wills (6:41, 14:39). He is with you
wherever you may be (57:4, 58:7). Thus, implore your Lord to shower
you with His grace (4:32) and His Mercy (7:155), and never despair
(15:55). God is Possessor of Infinite Grace (57:21).
The Importance of Imploring
God willing, we all know that we must implore only God (25:68,
7:37), and the Quran teaches us that God test people with adversity
and hardship that they may implore (6:42, 7:94). It also points
out: “If only they implored when test came to them! (6:43).”
Throughout the Quran we see many examples. When Noah called upon
God, He responded to him by saving him and his family from the great
disaster (21:76, 26:117,118). When the devil afflicted Job with
hardship and pain, he called upon His Lord and He answered his prayer
(38:41, 21:84). When the youth took refuge in the cave, they implored
God to bless their affairs with His guidance (18:10). The wife of
Pharaoh implored God to build a home for her at Him in Paradise
(66:11).
When Jonah implored God, He saved him from misery (21:87-88). When
Zachariah implored his Lord, God responded to him and granted him
John (21:90). When Moses and Aaron
asked God to wipe out the wealth of
Pharaoh and his elders, their prayers were answered (10:88-89).
God answered the prayer of Joseph and protected him from the women's
schemes (12:34). Lot implored God for victory (29:30), so did Saleh,
Shuaib, Hood, Abraham and others.
You may even implore God for material things just as Solomon did
(38:35), as long as you do not neglect your share in the Hereafter.
But never implore God on behalf of those who have transgressed (11:37,
60:4), and remember that God rewards people for what they say (5:84-85).
On the Day of Resurrection, He will point out that a group of His
servants used to implore Him (52:28), and used to say “Our
Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and shower us with mercy”
23:109, 118); and they prayed at dawn for forgiveness (51:18).
Why Some Prayers Are
Not Answered?
The Quran informs us that the human being often prays for something
that may hurt him, thinking that he is praying for something good.
The human being is impatient (17:11). He may dislike something which
is good for him, and he may like something which is bad for him
(2:216, 4:19). GOD knows while we do not know.
God answers the prayers of His servants. On the other hand, the
supplications of the disbelievers are in vain (2:186, 13:14, 40:50).
What Are the Best Prayers?
Since God did not leave anything out of the Quran (6:38), let us
use the Quran as a source to find the best prayers which will help
us grow our souls, and maintain our righteousness.
Our Lord, perfect our light for us and forgive us (66:88), increase
our knowledge and include us with the
righteous (26:83). We believe in what
you have revealed and we follow the messenger, so count us among
the
witnesses (3:53, 5:83). Guide us in the right path (1:6), make us
submitters to You (2:128), and make us one of those who consistently
observe the Contact Prayers (14:40). Grant us in this world righteousness
and spare us the agony of Hell in the Hereafter (3:16, 3:201, 25:65,
7:156). Grant us steadfastness, strengthen our foothold, and support
us against the disbelieving people (2:250, 3:147), and let us die
as a submitter (7:126).
Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make mistakes. Protect
us from blaspheming against You, like those before us have done.
Our Lord, protect us from sinning until it becomes too late for
us to repent (2:286). Pardon us, forgive us our transgressions,
remit our sins, and let us be among the righteous when we die (3:193).
Grant us what you promised us through Your messengers and do not
forsake us on the Day of Resurrection. You never break a promise
(3:194). Protect us from worshiping idols (14:35), and from falling
into sin (40:9).
Our Lord, direct us to appreciate the blessings You have bestowed
upon us and upon our parents, and to work righteousness that pleases
You. Let our children to be righteous as well (46:15), and admit
us an honorable admittance and let us depart an honorable departure.
Grant us from You a powerful support (17:80). Forgive us and our
parents, and the believers on the day when the reckoning takes place
(14:41), and shower our parents with Your mercy for they have raised
us from infancy (17:24).
Our Lord, let our spouses and our children be a source of joy for
us, and keep us in the forefront of the
Page 4
Implore God
righteous (25:74). Let us not be with the transgressing people (23:94).
Let us not be oppressed by those who disbelieved (60:5), and grant us
a decisive victory over the disbelieving people (7:89).
Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us to the faith, and
keep our hearts from harboring any hatred towards those who believed (59:10),
and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection (26:87). Let not our
hearts waver after You have guided us, and shower us with Your mercy (3:8).
Our Lord, please answer our prayers. You are always near, responsive
(14:40, 11:61).
[Eds. note: The political and religious oppression
in the country where the author of this article lives makes us difficult
for us to publish the author's name. We remind the following verses to
these so called Muslim scholars and government officials who do not give
people their God given religious freedom: Oppression is worse than murder....
(2:191) There shall be no compulsion in religion.... (2:256)]
With The advance of the Internet, the true Quranic message is spreading
in cyberspace to every corner of the world. We are witnessing God's
promise of producing a creature at the right time, and the computer
seems to fit the description since it is declaring and exposing
people's doubt in God's revelations (27:82).
Lately we are also witnessing another of the Quran's prophecy,
as quoted in the title of this article, comes true. In the religion
section of the Internet bulletin boards, people from the Sunni
and Shi'a Muslims, as well as from Christian backgrounds
often debate with each other. Although they have different beliefs
and are mortal enemies of each other, they become united when it
comes to opposing those who preach the worship of God alone. When
God's servants post any message on the religion section of the computer
bulletin boards, the idol worshippers immediately post back attacks
and insults.
The following is a good example. A submitter posted a message to
follow the Quran alone and to discard the Hadith as a source of
religious guidance. Immediately, a Shi'ite Muslim attacked
the original posting. Interestingly enough, a Sunni Muslim
came to praise the Shi'ite. He wrote:
"You may hold the Shi'ite belief and I myself am
a Sunni…. But one thing we have in common is to defend
the honor, integrity and status of our Holy Prophet (SAW)."
This is inspite of the fact that discarding the Hadith and obeying
the Quran alone is exactly what God and the prophet Muhammad would
like the Muslims to do.
In another instance, a Christian who worships Jesus was told that
Jesus was a human messenger just like all other messengers. The
Quran informs us in verses 3:55 and 5:116 that Jesus is now dead
and is not coming back. This person posted the following:
"I don't think the verb that you translate as TERMINATE actually
means that. Other translations have 'gathered' or 'took'. I think
that this is RK's translation and he does a lot of this sort of
'fill in the blanks' translating."
Upon which the Shi'ite Muslim complemented him and wrote:
"Well said"
