Submitters Perspective, March 2016

Intoxicants and drug abuse take up most of the issue: why people use drugs, the main drug classes and dependency rates, and the Quran's prohibition in 2:219 and 5:90 to 91, with worshiping God alone as the remedy. A second article sets US costs of alcohol and drugs beside the Quran's teaching. Also included are a year of the Masjid Tucson food pantry and plans for the 2016 Vancouver conference.
