Appreciation of God's blessings is presented as the antidote to Satan and to human failings such as jealousy, stinginess, fear, impatience, argument, and ego, each tied to Quranic verses. A second article describes worship as more than ritual: remembrance of God (Zikr), the contact prayer offered with devotion, good deeds done for God's pleasure, and striving against one's vices, all part of total submission.
