Believers Implore God Alone (Du‘ā in Quran)

6:40 Say, “What if GOD’s retribution came to you, or the Hour came to you: would you implore other than GOD, if you are truthful?” 6:41 The fact is: only Him you implore, and He resolves what you implore Him for, if He so wills, and you forget your idols.

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

بَلْ إِيَّاهُ تَدْعُونَ فَيَكْشِفُ مَا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيْهِ ۦ إِن شَآءَ وَتَنسَوْنَ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ

25:68 They never implore beside GOD any other god, nor do they kill any soul—for GOD has made life sacred—except in the course of justice. Nor do they commit adultery. Those who commit these offenses will have to pay.

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًۭا
