Dr. Rashad Khalifa
Intercession is a myth and a trick of Satan; believing that Muhammad will intercede for anyone is idolizing him against his will.1, 2, 3
The great criterion is that those who believe in intercession cannot bear talk about God alone, and one's reaction to talk of God alone reveals oneself and one's destiny.1, 2
The Prophet cannot put anyone in Paradise, take anyone out of hell, call anyone to account, or benefit or harm anyone; his sole mission was delivering the Quran.1, 2
Abraham could not intercede for his father, Noah could not intercede for his son, and Muhammad could not intercede for his uncle or relatives, so no prophet or saint will intercede for a stranger.1, 2
Believing that anyone other than God can intercede to have our sins forgiven or our wishes fulfilled is setting up partners with God, which is idolatry.1
Everyone in Paradise will intercede for loved ones, but such intercession works only if the person already deserves Paradise, so intercession, though it takes place in this manner, is utterly useless.1, 2
The concept of Muhammad's intercession is illogical and blasphemous, because it makes God tell Muhammad who deserves Paradise and then has Muhammad tell God, making God a secretary of their idol.1, 2, 3
The myth of intercession is one of Satan's most effective tricks, leading millions of Christians to idolize Jesus and millions of Muslims to idolize Muhammad.1, 2
Muslims idolize Muhammad against his will by calling him the most honorable messenger, claiming he was infallible, making his tomb a Sacred Mosque, and claiming he can intercede.1, 2, 3, 4
God accepts prayers for forgiveness for the believers but not for the hypocrites, who will not be forgiven whether forgiveness is asked for them or not.1, 2, 3
Intercession in the Quranic sense is a believer in heaven asking God for a loved one, which helps only if that person is already going to heaven, so it is really useless.1, 2, 3, 4
Many Muslims fall into the same presumption the Quran condemns in the Jews, believing the Prophet will intercede for them and keep them from Hell.1, 2
Each person is responsible only for his or her own deeds, so the wives of Noah and Lot went to Hell despite their righteous husbands, and no one can intercede for another.1, 2, 3
We must forget Jesus, Mary, saints, or anyone else as helpers besides God, because that is the only way to be saved, and Satan works to inject others.1, 2, 3, 4
Muslims never call Muhammad God, Son of God, or an idol, yet for all practical purposes they idolize him because they believe he has the power to intercede.1, 2, 3
Idolized figures such as Muhammad, Jesus, Mary, and saints are insignificant, and on the Day of Judgment they will say they have no power and need help themselves.1, 2, 3, 4
The Bible in Matthew 7:23 likewise says Jesus will reject those who call him Lord on the day of judgment, telling them he does not know them.1
Muhammad, Jesus, and Mary are helpless and powerless, and nobody can benefit or harm you except in accordance with God's will.1, 2, 3
Believers do not need Mary, Muhammad, or Jesus besides God.1
Those people implore besides God, such as saints like Saint Jude, have no power to relieve afflictions or heal anyone.1, 2, 3
The minute people call on anyone other than God, such as saints, Jesus, Mary, Muhammad, or Ali, for any reason, they leave God's kingdom and mercy and become Satan's constituents.1, 2, 3, 4
People who are not sure about the Hereafter do not feel secure, so they rely on something else to protect them and guarantee them a position in the Hereafter.1, 2, 3, 4
Even Abraham, as close to God as anyone, could not save his father, who is going to hell, and God reprimanded Abraham for asking forgiveness for him.1, 2
God alone possesses all power, and no saint, prophet, Jesus, or anyone other than God can guide us.1, 2, 3
Idol worshipers abuse verse 3:169 by going to the bodies of saints and begging them for help, though the bodies are nothing.1, 2, 3
No human being, including Rashad Khalifa, can help you in anything except to give you the message, so idol worship of any person is ruled out.1, 2, 3, 4
Belief in Muhammad's intercession is absurd idolatry, because God already knows who deserves heaven, so it sets up rivals with God.1, 2, 3, 4
On the Day of Judgment neither Jesus nor Muhammad can help anyone, because God alone created, sustained, terminated, resurrected, and judges each person.1, 2, 3
Idols such as dead saints are powerless and know nothing of what their worshipers ask; those who set up idols besides God follow only conjecture.1, 2, 3
Jesus himself taught people to deal directly with God, repeating the first commandment to love God with all one's heart, leaving no room for anybody else.1, 2, 3
Redemption into God's kingdom requires devotion to God alone, so praying to God and Jesus together means God is not alone, just as a dinner guest bringing a servant is not alone.1, 2, 3
The problem is thinking we can reach God through somebody; God wants us to deal directly with Him and be devoted to Him alone.1, 2, 3
Praying for the dead does no good, because only what a person did during this life counts.1, 2, 3
A human who upholds God's absolute authority, believing that neither Muhammad nor Jesus nor anyone else has any power except God, is highly ranked.1, 2, 3
Dead saints are helpless and powerless, and only God can help; his mother upheld God alone all her life, and he loves her for being a believer.1, 2, 3
God alone is our Lord and Master, no saint or prophet, dead or alive, can help or harm us, and only God gives health and happiness.1, 2, 3
Whenever a baby is born, Satan reproduces, and his offspring attaches to the human from birth to death, constantly urging that God alone is not enough and that Muhammad, Jesus, Mary, or saints can help.1, 2, 3, 4
God alone possesses all power and alone can help us, while the prophets, messengers, imams, and saints are dead and would be powerless even if alive.1, 2, 3
All intercession belongs to God and nobody possesses it; the messenger has no intercession, as God told Muhammad that even seventy requests for forgiveness would not save them, and Abraham's intercession could not save his father.1, 2, 3, 4
No one, not Muhammad, Jesus, or the saints, can intercede for anyone on the Day of Judgment, so each person must nourish the soul in this life.1
