God Never Needs to Rest (2:255)

2:255 GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will? He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills. His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him. He is the Most High, the Great.
Some believe that God built the heavens and earth in six days and rested on the seventh. This is a blasphemy. From this verse we see that God never tires or needs rest. These are human attributes and not befitting of God.
Some people have the mentality that they would be bothering God, by praying to Him. This is a lack of understanding about God. To God it is all easy and there is no difference between moving mountains or finding someone a close parking spot.
