The Quran as humanity's one guidebook, set against the sects and hadith literature that divide believers, opens this December 2000 issue. A second article draws on the Old Testament, New Testament, and Quran to argue that God alone, not Jesus, is the Savior and Redeemer. Also included are a teenager's poem on the paradox of modern life and readers' comments on submission.org.
And most assuredly, it (the Quran) is a guide and mercy for the believers
27:77
No sane person would ever put to use a highly
technical type of machinery without consulting the guidebook or instruction
manual supplied by its maker or manufacturer. But we have totally bypassed
this essential practice in our own case and have completely ignored the
GUIDEBOOK coming from the One and Only Creator to guide all human beings.
The divinely selected and guided messengers, right from the first one
to the last, presented one and the same universal code to unite the entire
mankind into one nation and brotherhood.
It is our ignorance that has made us label ourselves as Buddhist, Christian,
Hindu, Jew, Parsi, Shia, Sikh and Sunni etc. And we proceed further; every
sect is getting divided into numerous sub-sects!
All these man-made sects have created their
sectarian literature in derogation to the book of God. Such sectarian
literature is followed by one sect and completely or partially rejected
by the other. And it is this literature which produces and nourishes cast-system,
family-worship, personality-cult, fake mythological concepts, practices,
customs, rituals, ceremonies, festivals by completely paralyzing the conscience
and intellect of man.
Throughout the period of the Quranic Islam practiced by the prophet
and his trained companions, people were learning, understanding, adopting
and propagating the Message of the Quran. They were following only one
source. In that period, even the prophet instructed his people not to
take anything
from him except the Quran. It was only many
years after the death of Prophet Mohammad that the written material of
religious instructions outside the Quran started its appearance under
the heads of ansaab, fiqh, hadith, lughat, rijaal, seerat, tafseer,
tarekh etc.
It’s a tragedy that believers become victims to this man-made literature
and its illegitimate history-record. Those who accepted this man-made
literature, developed it, and regarded it sacred, became sects and later
on got divided into numerous sects and sub-sects, inspite of the strict
warnings in the Quran available in verses 3:105, 6:159; 30:32.

Who is Our One and Only Savior?
Common Christian thought is that the
only way to heaven is through Jesus, whether through intercession
in prayer or devotion in worship as part of the trinity. The notion
that Jesus Christ is the Savior and the way contradicts every known
divine scripture including the Old Testament, the New Testament
and the Final Testament (Quran). Any sincere student of the scripture
will find out that the ONE and ONLY Savior and Redeemer is the One
GOD, the Almighty, the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammed.
We see in the New Testament that the idea of every one being responsible
for his deeds was expressed in Galatians 6:4-7: “Each
man should look to his conduct; if he has reason to boast of anything,
it will be because the achievement is his and not another’s.
A man will REAP ONLY what he SOWS.”
There are also other similar verses in the New Testament:
Each of us shall give an account of himself to God.
(Romans 14:12)
Each one will receive his own reward according to
his own labour. (1 Corinthians 3:8)
In the Old Testament, individual accountability is clear:
Also to you O Lord, belong mercy; for you render
to each one according to his work. (Psalms 62:12)
And will he not render to each man according to
his deeds? (Proverbs 24:12)
The righteousness of the
righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked
shall be upon himself. (Ezekiel 18:20)
The Final Testament, the Quran, confirms the basic principle in
the Old and New Testaments, that a man will reap only what he sows.
Every soul is responsible only for his/her own work
(53:39)
...no soul benefits except from its own work, and
none bears the burden of another.... (6:164)
If each man reaps what he sows, how can Jesus be the savior? How
could he have taken on the sins of mankind and negated them? Only
the One who accepts repentance and wipes out sins can do that. Indeed
throughout the Old Testament, God ALONE is referred to as the SAVIOR.
For example in 2 Samuel 22:1-3 and in Isaiah, God Himself speaks,
saying clearly that He ALONE is the SAVIOR:
For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel,
your SAVIOR....It is I, the Lord; there is NO SAVIOR BUT ME... (Isaiah
43:3,11)
God repeats this categorical statement in Hosea:
I am the Lord, your God, since the land of Egypt; You know no God
besides me, and there is NO SAVIOR but me. (Hosea 13:4)
There is also a related concept, the idea of a “REDEEMER”.
This word has also been exclusively used for God in the Old Testament,
e.g. Isaiah 44:24 and 60:16.
You shall know that I,
the Lord am your SAVIOR, your REDEEMER, the mighty one of Jacob.
(Isaiah 60:16)
The created idea of Jesus being the Savior can only be witnessed
in the New Testament where the alteration has been highly suspected
because of its complete contradiction to the Old Testament that
came from the same God. God does not change His mind. God does not
call Himself the ONLY SAVIOR then decide to change that and call
Jesus the Savior. This term describing Jesus as the Savior was used
only twice in the New Testament. This is noted in Luke.2:11 and
in John. 4:42. Besides these two occurrences, the only other occurrence
in the Gospels clearly refers to God, not Jesus:
Then Mary said: “My being proclaims the greatness
of the Lord. My spirit finds joy in God, MY SAVIOR, For He has looked
upon his servant in her lowliness...” (Luke 1:46-48)
We cannot ignore the reminder in Isaiah 46:9 where God speaks of
Himself: “I am God, there is no other; I am God, there
is none like me.” (in other words La Elaha Ella Allah
– There is no god except GOD).
In the Final Testament, the Quran, God clearly calls Himself the
Redeemer and no savior besides Him. A few verses are listed below.
As for those who repent, reform, and proclaim, I
redeem them. I am the Redeemer, Most Merciful. (2:160)
Page 3
Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my
people, you have wronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You
must repent to your Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is better
for you in the sight of your Creator." He did redeem you. He
is the Redeemer, Most Merciful. (2:54)
As for those who believe and lead a righteous life,
He will fully recompense them, and shower them with His grace. As
for those who disdain and turn arrogant, He will commit them to
painful retribution. They will find no lord beside GOD, nor a savior.
(4:173)
Do they not realize that GOD accepts the repentance
of His worshipers, and takes the charities, and that GOD is the
Redeemer, Most Merciful? (9:104)
This is GOD’s grace and mercy towards you.
GOD is Redeemer, Most Wise. (24:10)
...You shall observe GOD. GOD is Redeemer, Most
Merciful. (49:12)
You shall glorify and praise your Lord, and implore Him for forgiveness.
He is the Redeemer. (110:3)
We have Only One God who can redeem us. He is the same God who
spoke in the Bible, the Gospel and the Quran reminding us that there
is no god besides Him.
Proclaim, “He is the One and only GOD.
“The Absolute GOD. “Never did He beget. Nor was
He begotten.
The paradox of our time in history is that
we have
taller buildings, but shorter tempers;
wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints;
we spend more, but have less;
we buy more, but enjoy it less
We have bigger houses and smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
we have more degrees, but less sense;
more knowledge, but less judgment;
more experts, but more problems.
More medicine, but less wellness.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;
we've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
We've conquered outer space, but not inner space;
we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul;
we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
We have higher incomes, but lower morals;
we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the times of tall men, and short character;
steep profits, and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare;
more leisure, but less fun;
more kinds of food, but less nutrition.
These are days of two incomes, but more divorce;
of fancier houses, but broken homes.
It is a time when
there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom.
A time when technology can bring this letter to you,
and a time when you can choose either to make a
difference..... or to just hit delete.

The Guidebook
3:105 Do not be like those who became divided and disputed,
despite the clear proofs that were given to them. For these have incurred
a terrible retribution.
30:32 (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide
their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.
6:159 Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong
with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything
they had done.
Allah (God) is the most Beneficent and the most Merciful. He has made
compulsory on His self to shower blessings and mercy on us. He loves us
more than even our parents, as He is our Creator and Sustainer. Are we
ready to submit and become a worthy candidate for the statements in verses
6:12,54; 39:53?
8:2 The true believers are
those whose hearts tremble when GOD is mentioned, and when His revelations
are recited to them, their faith is strengthened, and they trust in their
Lord.
6:54 When those who believe in our revelations come
to you, you shall say, "Salamun `Alaykum (Peace be upon you). Your
Lord has decreed that mercy is His attribute. Thus, anyone among you who
commits a transgression out of ignorance, and repents thereafter and reforms,
then He is Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Web site comments
You have a truly beautiful website!! It was great to actually hear the
truth about Islam and the Quran. So much of what we learn about Islam
is taught from people who either do not understand or have a hidden agenda.
The media always seem to mention if a terrorist is Muslim, yet they never
mentioned that the terrorists who bombed the government building in Oklahoma
City were Christian! Hopefully, through websites such as yours, this will
all change.
May God Bless You,
F. D.

I would like to thank you for allowing me to download the Holy Quran
with the mathematical miracle of the Quran. In my study so far I have
found it inspiring, encouraging and amazing.
Thanks
