Translations of the Quran are tested against its criteria for belief in the Hereafter: worshiping God alone, rejecting hadith, and upholding the Quran alone. Yusuf Ali's and Pickthall's renderings of 39:45, 17:45-46 and 20:15 are compared with Dr. Khalifa's, with the argument that dropping the word alone and hiding the end of the world are Satan-inspired distortions.
