Submitters Perspective, May 2021

Moderation in Submission is drawn from the Quran: true fundamentalism as kindness rather than fanaticism, balance in charity, eating and drinking, consultation, no compulsion in religion, and equivalence tempered by forgiveness, alongside God's control of all events. A second essay examines how the ego, especially a know it all attitude, hinders appreciation of God, followed by verses on appreciation and a Memorial Day poem of remembrance.
