Submitters Perspective, May 2026
Righteousness as God defines it in the Quran, contrasted with the dictionary meaning, with verses on how God enjoins it and mercifully allows repentance. A second piece traces steadfastness, wickedness, forgiveness, and righteousness through the Quran. A third urges reading the Quran daily and attending Quran study groups, treating them as seriously as Jumu'ah and setting a good example for newcomers.
We have a Quran app available for iOS and Android (phones and tablets), and Windows PCs, by God's grace. You can read Quran (or let the app recite Quran for you), search for a verse, and more. Please visit: https://masjidtucson.org/quran/app/
Quran Verses on Quran
16:98 When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in GOD from Satan the rejected.
55:1 The Most Gracious. 55:2 Teacher of the Quran.
54:17 We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?
59:21 If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for GOD. We cite these examples for the people, that they may reflect.
