God cannot be tempted

According to Matthew 4:1 and Mark 1:13, Satan tempted Jesus, yet James 1:13 states that God cannot be tempted by evil.

Not only that, but even the temptations do not make sense if one is to believe that Jesus is God.

• The devil tempted him with food.
• The devil tempted him with dominion.
• If Jesus is God, then doesn't that mean he already would have dominion over all things, including Satan himself?
• The devil tempted him with harm.
• If Jesus is God, how can God get harmed or require the angels to protect him?
• Even Jesus' response says, "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test."

Matthew 4:1-3

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
